Requirements

• Proficiency in professional audio/video/photo equipment, production and editing software;

• Have a university degree or equivalent or a post-secondary diploma with a professional bachelor's degree (studies in audiovisual arts or multimedia are an advantage);
  the ability to plan and organise their own activities;

• Have experience of working with pupils (11-18 years)

• Have a constant interest in and knowledge of new developments in the audiovisual arts, and be able to collaborate with the media industry.

• Be familiar with the specificities of Jesuit education;

• Have a working knowledge of at least one of the three languages of the European Union (English, French or German);

Functions

• adapting publicly available media literacy curricula for grades 1 to 2 of lower secondary school, focusing on audiovisual media and media products that appeal to pupils (films, advertising, computer games, social networks, TV programmes and series, multimedia journalism);

• develops media literacy skills; critical thinking, communication skills, cooperation, creativity, and provides lessons and educational activities;

• training in the use of available audiovisual equipment and applications;

• cooperate with media industry practitioners, organise meetings and/or excursions to media industry practice sites (e.g. advertising agency, film studio, etc.)
